ACADEMICS

Alhaji Akilu Comprehensive Islamic Secondary School provides a comprehensive academic program covering Sciences, Mathematics, English Language, Arts, and Social Sciences. Teaching and learning are enhanced through well-planned lessons, practical science laboratory activities, continuous assessments, projects, and examinations. Students are also exposed to basic ICT skills to support modern learning and research. The school emphasizes critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication while integrating strong Islamic values to promote discipline, moral uprightness, and academic excellence.

English Language

English Language focuses on developing students’ skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Emphasis is placed on grammar, comprehension, vocabulary, and effective communication to support academic success and everyday interaction.

History & Government

Government & History help students understand governance, citizenship, and historical events. The subjects promote knowledge of political systems, civic responsibilities, national development, and lessons from past societies.
